Bikers enjoying the Virginia Creeper Trail in the deep woods of southwest Virginia. This "rails to trails" is located on the former Abingdon branch of the Norfolk and Western railroad. It stretches 34 miles from Abingdon to Whitetop, Virginia, with the most frequented section by bikers the 17 miles from Whitetop to Damascus, Virginia.
