Description
Armour that would have been worn by the earliest English settlers at the Jamestown Settlement in Jamestown, Virginia. The James Fort is recreated as it would have appeared between 1610 and 1614, complete with all buildings, furnishings, and reenactors in their period roles. It is a true step back in time to experience what it would have been like in this first English settlement in America that survived.

The tools and gear change with time, but not the courage needed. Neat piece, Dale. - Mike (V)

Mike... So true, so true! I can't imagine wearing this armour for any length of time in a hot Virginia summer! Thanks for the compliment!
