Hiking and biking toward the setting sun on the Virginia Creeper Trail near Alvarado, Virginia. Situated on the old rail bed of the Norfolk and Western railroad, the Creeper Trail extends 34 miles from Abingdon to Whitetop, Virginia. During the season, thousands of bikers take the 17 mile downhill run from Whitetop to Damascus, Virginia.
