The pony named "Liz's Serenity" strides across the marsh of Assateague Island, Virginia looking for some fresh grass to munch on. Owned by the Chincoteague Volunteer Fire Department, these wild ponies are allowed to live on the Assateague Island wildlife refuge. The heard is maintained at about 150 ponies. They are truly a sight to behold in in the wild!
