The gently flowing waters of Laurel Creek glide under the old railroad bridge on the Virginia Creeper trail. Once part of the Norfolk and Western Abingdon branch, this rails to trails now encompasses 34 miles of a hiking / biking path from Whitetop to Abingdon, Virginia.
