Description
The iconic columns of the former Academic Hall on the University of Missouri campus. Academic Hall was the first structure built on this land grant University from 1840 to 1843. Academic Hall burned to the ground in 1892 and after a year's deliberations, the decision was made to let the columns remain. They are now one of the most photographed sites on the University of Missouri campus and in the State of Missouri!
