Artist's Description
Built in 1914, the Todd General Store was an iconic location for visitors to the New River, in Ashe County, North Carolina. It was one of the first places we visited when we decided to build our cabin in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina. We loved listening to bluegrass music, eating on the backporch, and shopping their eclectic collection of items. Sadly, the store burned to the ground on the evening of 25 February, 2021 and is now just a memory.
